Realities Ride Labor Day weekend - I was riding down a mountain road and there was a curve that turned out to be too sharp for me to handle even though I was going the speed limit. My bike went out from under me and I slid into the guardrail. After an ambulance ride and several hours in the ER, I left with a sprained ankle and wrist, severe road rash, and over 100 stitches to seal a bone deep laceration on my leg. This accident is going to keep me from being able to work for at least 2 weeks, if not longer. The medical bills are also going to be very difficult for me to handle. Any assistance that friends and family can give me would be most appreciated.
