I was riding with the North Texas chapters in Oklahoma near Shawnee we were on a back road and I was riding mid-pack. Everyone came to a stop where the surface changed from asphalt to gravel. I managed to miss the brothers directly in front of me but I was sliding towards a brother that had just stopped in time to keep from going into a deep wash, to keep from hitting him and knocking him into the wash I slid sideways, highsided and went down hard. I injured my shoulder, broke my collarbone and bruised my lung. I still can't raise my right arm over my head. I don't have medical insurance and my motorcycle insurance didn't pay much of anything. Due to the injury I eventually lost my job cuz I couldn't return to work. I haven't worked since the accident and I've borrowed all the money I can. We do have unemployment benefits but that's about half my normal salary. We've fallen over 2 months behind on rent and some bills.
